Sue Evans

Sue Evans has been associated with CENTURY 21 Ivey & Company since 1988, and is a broker with the firm. Her interest in enhancing the professional image of Realtors has spilled over into leadership positions within the local, state, and national associations of Realtors.

On the local level, Sue served as Treasurer (2 year term) of the Athens Area Association of Realtors, as well as Vice President and Director positions. She chaired the Legislative & License Law Committee for four years, served as chairperson for the Realtors political Action Committee, and chaired the Banquet committee. Involvement and membership in other committees include:

  • Education Committee
  • Public Relations Committee
  • Membership Committee
  • Equal Opportunity Committee
  • Finance Committee

Further involvement on the local level includes President and Secretary of Women's Council of Realtors. Her success is demonstrated through her membership in the Million Dollar Club.

On the state level, Sue served as the chairperson and the vice-chairperson of the Communications & Public Relations Committee, and represented the Athens area Association of Realtors as a Director to the State Association. Involvement and membership in other State committees include:

  • Convention Committee
  • Legislative & License Law Committee
  • Organizational Task Force Committee
  • Congressional Action - FDC John Linder (3 years)

On the National level, Sue was a founding member of the National Association of Realtors Property management Section.

A native of Ohio, Sue and her husband moved to Athens twenty-seven years ago. They have two children and three grandchildren.
